AUGUST 17, 2024 (SATURDAY)
First-year students’ opening day. Check-in from 8:00 AM EST - 11:00 AM EST
AUGUST 18, 2024 (SUNDAY)

Transfer students’ opening day. Check-in at Reese Hall from 10:00 AM EST - 12:00 PM EST

Returning students (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) students' opening day. Check-in at Reese Hall from 10:00 AM EST - 5:00 PM EST.
OCTOBER 2024
OCTOBER 12, 2024 (SATURDAY) - OCTOBER 20, 2024 (SUNDAY)
Fall Break: All University housing remains open. Students wishing to stay in University housing must register to stay with Housing and Residence Life by September 27, 2024.
NOVEMBER 2024
NOVEMBER 27, 2024 (WEDNESDAY) - DECEMBER 1, 2024 (SUNDAY)
Thanksgiving Break: All University housing remains open. Students wishing to stay in University housing must register to stay with Housing and Residence Life by November 15, 2024.
DECEMBER 2024
DECEMBER 13, 2024 (FRIDAY) - JANUARY 5, 2025 (SUNDAY)
Winter Break: All University housing closes at 6:00 PM EST on December 13, 2024. Students who wish to apply for an extension until 9:00 AM EST on December 14, 2024, must do so with Housing and Residence Life by December 8, 2024.
JANUARY 2025
JANUARY 5, 2025 (SUNDAY)
Winter Term: University housing opens at 8:00 AM EST on January 5, 2025, for students approved to be on campus for Winter Term.
JANUARY 23, 2025 (THURSDAY)
Students approved to be on campus for Winter Term but are not enrolled in an on-campus course for the Spring Semester must depart by 4:00 PM EST.
JANUARY 24, 2025 (FRIDAY)
Spring Semester: University housing opens at 8:00 AM EST for students who are enrolled in an on-campus course for the Spring Semester but were not approved to be on campus for Winter Term.
MARCH 2025
MARCH 15, 2025 (SATURDAY) - MARCH 23, 2025 (SUNDAY)
Spring Break: All University housing remains open. Students wishing to stay in University housing must register to stay with Housing and Residence Life by March 7, 2025.
MAY 2025
MAY 15, 2025 (THURSDAY)
End of the Year Closing: Residence Halls and Rector Village close at 6:00 PM for students not participating in commencement or approved for on-campus summer housing. Students who wish to apply for an extension until 9:00 AM EST on Friday, May 16, 2025, must do so with Housing and Residence Life by May 2, 2025.
MAY 20, 2025 (MONDAY)
End of the Year Closing: All University housing closes at 11:00 AM EST.
MAY 23, 2025 (FRIDAY)
Students approved for on-campus housing for May Term or the duration of summer can transition to their new housing assignment beginning May 23, 2025.
JUNE 2025
JUNE 19, 2025 (THURSDAY)
May Term Closing: Students only approved for on-campus housing for May Term will need to depart their housing assignment by 12:00 PM EST on June 19, 2025. Students who are approved to reside on-campus for the duration of the summer will remain in their summer housing assignment until early August 2025.
