Information for Move In Day
We are very excited to welcome you and your family when you arrive for move-in day and the start of New Student Orientation on Saturday, Aug. 17. There is a lot going on that day and many things happening around campus, so please take some time to read this important information about getting to campus and where to unload and park once you arrive. Move in time slots will be alloted between 8 a.m. through 12 p.m.

Driving To and Around Campus
From the North
Take US 231 south into Greencastle. At the court house square, follow US 231 by turning left at the light. If your destination is Bishop Roberts, Hogate, Humbert or Longden halls in the South Quad, turn right onto Locust Street toward South Quad. If your destination is Lucy Rowland Hall in Ubben Quad, continue past Locust Street and turn right onto Bloomington Street. Turn right onto Hanna Street, and continue to Lucy Rowland Hall, which will be on the righthand side of the road at the intersection of Hanna and Locust Streets.
From the South/Interstate 70
Follow US 231 into Greencastle. Turn left onto Hanna Street. If your destination is Bishop Roberts, Hogate, Humbert or Longden halls in the South Quad, turn left onto Locust Street and continue toward South Quad. If your destination is Lucy Rowland Hall, continue on Hanna Street, and Lucy Rowland Hall will be on the righthand side of the road at the intersection of Hanna and Locust Streets.
Unloading and Parking
When you arrive on campus, head straight to your residence hall. Once you get to your residence hall, there will be teams of student, staff and faculty volunteers waiting to help you and your family members unload your vehicles. While the volunteers are unloading your vehicles, students who live in Bishop Roberts Hall, Jordan Hall, Humbert Hall and Longden Hall should proceed to Humbert Hall in South Quad to check in. Students who live in Lucy Rowland Hall should proceed directly to the lobby of Lucy Rowland Hall in Ubben Quad.
We ask that once your vehicle is unloaded that you move it to long-term parking. Those parking lots designated as long-term parking for Friday are the Hanna Street, Peeler, Olive Street and Blackstock Stadium lots.
