Resources and Key Contacts

We've got this, together.

At DePauw, we work tirelessly to support our students in all aspects of their lives. And we know our students – as well as their families and supporters – do too. Below are some helpful resources and important contacts to support new arrivals to the DePauw community.

DePauw is committed to providing equal access to campus life and academics. Student Accessibility Services supports students with a wide range of accommodations, including housing, dining and academic needs.

Housing and Dietary Accommodations

Residence hall living and shared dining are core to the DePauw experience. We carefully evaluate all requests for housing and dietary accommodations based on medical needs, impairments or other conditions that substantially impact daily life.

To request these accommodations:

  • Learn about the process here, and contact Student Accessibility Services as early as possible, ideally before the housing application deadline.

  • Submit documentation.

  • Late requests will be considered, but specific housing preferences may not be guaranteed.

Academic Accommodations

We offer support for learning, physical and emotional challenges. We provide reasonable accommodations for long-term disabilities, chronic conditions, temporary impairments and episodic conditions.

DePauw offers several convenient options for managing your student account. You can access billing statements, make payments and set up third-party access (allowing parents or others to view statements and make payments on your behalf) through the Transact portal, found within e-Services. We encourage you to explore these online tools to stay informed about your account balance and payment deadlines.

Visit our Payment Services webpage for detailed information on payment deadlines, how to make payments, our interest-free monthly payment plan, setting up third-party access for billing and payment purposes, and more.

While many students do not find it necessary to have a vehicle on campus, first-year students are permitted to do so. Please learn about parking regulations and how to register your vehicle prior to coming to campus.

We invite DePauw families, friends and alumni to join us on-campus for a weekend each fall to spend special time with your student.

While 2025 dates are to be determined, you can find 2024 Family Weekend information here.

Finding your community often starts with your first-year housing at DePauw! You'll discover a variety of welcoming residence halls designed to help you connect with your fellow classmates from all over the world. Each residence hall offers engaging programs, supportive peer connections and mentoring opportunities. You'll find comfortable and inviting common spaces in each building, perfect for gathering with friends and building lasting memories as you begin your DePauw journey.

Check out our Housing FAQs for more information on campus amenities, storage and shipping information, safety and living policies, and more.

DePauw's meal plans provide a number of meal swipes per week; flex dollars are also available with all meal plans to provide students with additional options. A meal or card swipe (“swipe”) is an all-you-care-to-eat meal at Hoover Dining Hall during normal operating hours, or a meal swipe alternative can be used at the at Blend, Café Roy or Café Allegro.

Students who are unable to transport all of their belongings with them when they come to campus may elect to ship them to campus prior to their arrival. Mark your packages with "STUDENT, HOLD FOR ARRIVAL." You can then retrieve your packages from the Student Post Office located in the Union Building. Any items sent by sea or air freight (i.e., not through the postal service) must be claimed at the U.S. Customs Office in Indianapolis (40 miles from Greencastle). More information on the Student Post Office can be found here. Note that packages cannot be received by the Student Post Office prior to August 1.
